1. Who we are
BidDesk is run by Aspect AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Aspect AI), B-1105, Aaradhya Square, Aaradhya One Earth, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai 400075, India.

2. What we collect, and why
Your account: your name, a username and a password. We keep the password only as a salted hash, so nobody at BidDesk can read it. Why: to create your account and sign you in.
Signing in: a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and, for each sign-in, your IP address and browser type. Why: to keep your account secure, show you where you’re signed in, and limit repeated attempts.
Your desk: settings you choose, such as your watchlist, company rules and voice. Some stay only in your browser. Why: so the desk works the way you set it.
Alerts: if you turn on notifications, the push address your browser gives us. Why: to send the alerts you asked for.
Quant: the questions you ask and your paper trades. A question you type in words is sent to OpenAI so it can be understood. Please don’t type personal details into it. Why: to answer your question.
New accounts: when an account is created, its name and username are sent to the BidDesk operator’s own devices. Why: to watch for misuse during the beta.
We don’t ask for your email, phone number, PAN, bank details or broker logins. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t show ads.
3. Who processes it for us
Vercel Inc.: hosting and storage. The desk runs in Mumbai; account data is stored with Vercel, which may keep it outside India.
OpenAI: only the questions you type into Quant.
Apple, Google or Mozilla, the maker of your browser: they deliver alerts, if you turn them on.
Framer: hosts this website. Its visitor analytics use no cookies.
4. How long we keep it
Your account and settings: until you ask us to delete your account.
Sign-in records and the security log: 1 year.
Quant questions: 1 year.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to the privacy address above. We reply within one month. If you’re not satisfied, write to our Grievance Officer. Once the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules apply, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed. Sessions are signed. Access to the stores is limited to the people who run BidDesk.
7. Cookies
The desk uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Age
BidDesk is for people aged 18 or over.
9. Changes
We’ll date every change on this page, and tell members on the desk about any important one.
